Now Hiring - Sales Assistant in Fresno, TX

Job Requirements:

• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Typing at least 45 words per minute.
• Answer phones when Receptionist is on another line or on lunch break
• Answer Quote and Sales calls when sales reps are on another line by writing all pertinent information for Sales to return calls. Once trained, provide quotes on COD calls and enter orders in Enhanced SMS
• Average Price Chart-Daily
• Submittals
• Credit Applications-Send to customers without accounts, if wanted.
• Send out revised quotes to customers and get signed quotes back.
• Clean up submittals and revise when needed.
• Finalize pricing after it has been approved.
• Answer routine product questions and direct questions to appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Print out all AMTEK bids, bidders list, and maps every Friday for the following week and give to Sales Rep. Once quote is created, send bids to potential customers. Once bids are awarded, print out the Apparent Low Bidder Sheet.
• Send job information forms to customers for new orders. Assist with chasing job information sheets not received by customers prior to shipping. Assist Sales in maintaining quote tracking log, and updated weekly.
• Assist Sales or Sales Manager with any other daily duties as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to speak clearly in person and via telephone.
• Occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to drive motor vehicle.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time without breaks.
